PROPOSAL:  Secretary, Lloyd Cross has proposed a donation of £1000 by the club for a second year to the general fund of Dachshund Health which continues to help all areas of health issues and related problems including the Canine Genetics Centre at Cambridge who are currently seeking funding. After watching a presentation regarding their funding plea, the secretary felt that as there remains a possibility that the Centre will no longer operate any monies given as a donation would be better ‘ring-fenced’ by going through Dachshund Health UK who monitor the situation before providing any release of funds.
