Dachshund of the Year 2023 had an enforced move to a new venue. Thank you to all who
attended, the highest number for many years, and the feedback provided, all of which is
noted and will be discussed.

The Weston Hall Hotel nr Bulkington proved to be an excellent
venue with plenty of space. It was lovely to see so many beautiful Dachshunds taking part in
all four competitions, with warm applause for all winners.
The hot lunch was a big hit, with much chatter around the tables. First and foremost this is a
social event where we can all get together and enjoy our shared love of Dachshunds.
We hope to put on an even better event on Saturday 25 January in 2025 and hope to
receive your continued support.
