DOTY (Dachshund of the Year) results 2025
Judge: Attila Schlosser (Vom Schwarenberg)
Date: 24th January 2025

Overall Winner - Mrs V Phillips - CH Tendrow Will to Succeed
A record number of Dachshunds competed at Dachshund of the Year 2025, held at the Weston Hotel, Bulkington, on 24 January.

Our mystery judge was Mr Attila Schlosser, a Dachshund breeder and all-breed professional handler from Budapest, Hungary.
In the morning, the Veteran and Special Beginners classes were judged. Lunch consisted of a hot meal followed by a choice of desserts, which was very well received by all in attendance.

The adult classes were judged after lunch, after which the four class winners came together to compete for the title. Dachshund of the Year was awarded to CH Tendrow Will to Succeed.

The Dachshund Club team worked extremely well together to deliver this prestigious event, and we received very positive feedback on both the show and the venue.
Planning is now underway for the next event, which will be held at the same hotel on 23 January 2027.
