Dachshund of the Year (DOTY) is a prestigious annual competition organised by The Dachshund Club in the UK since 2003, celebrating the country’s top Dachshunds across all six varieties. Awards are presented in several categories, including Adult, Puppy, Veteran, and Special Beginner, with one standout Dachshund ultimately claiming the coveted title of Dachshund of the Year.

In 2025, The Dachshund Club also chose to combine its annual trophies with the DOTY competition. Further details about The Dachshund Club awards can be found here: https://www.dachshundclub.co.uk/dacshundclubawards
