Duncan (M/S, 7yrs) & Paddy (M/L, 9yrs)
A beautiful L/H bitch who had to be rehomed due to a change in her owners circumstances. She is now living with Anne and Barry and Rowen a black and tan standard boy. They hit it off immediately and are now totally devoted to one another with Rowen protecting Megan from any dog who dares to even look at her!
This little, leggy, sweet natured, but timid dog was brought in to Rescue because he had epilepsy (They could not cope), my vet sorted him out—and now with medication he leads a very good life, with my sister in law.
Came in as a pair due to the death of their elderly owner, they were very sweet natured and have settled very well with a “just retired” couple.
The owner of Micha a 16 yr old Mini Long inherited her from his mother and couldn’t give her the time she needed. So an angel named Anne Wilson (and her husband) took her, they already had a 14 yr old Mini Long and a 13/14 yr old Jack Russell called Millie. Micha settled well Unfortunately Brie, the resident Mini Long died in July and in August Anne took on a pair of Minis aged about 13 years who had been living in an outside kennel. Tina and Pebbles took to living indoors—so all are happy in their old dogs home.
Making themselves comfortable November 2004
All three are “Rescues” - aged between 12 and 4 years. All are from separate homes, due to death or divorce—taken in by this wonderful family—all as you can see are very comfortable in their new home together!
Rupert, a L/H dog whose owner couldn’t cope with him and a handicapped son back at work full time. He was taken in by a lady who had a previous rescue a S/H who had died suddenly at Christmas. She was devastated and depressed but when I told her about Rupert needing a home she perked up. Rupert has lived with Iris and her sister for nearly year and she has reduced his weight a bit and all are very happy.
