Awarded to the Top Winning Dachshund of the Year.

 THE MOLLIE RAINE MEMORIAL TROPHY

Each Year the club awards this trophy to someone - often a young person - who has given outstanding service to our breed in the fields of breeding, showing, handling, administration etc.  Nominations from all members are welcome and you are invited to send your suggestions to the secretary by the end of January of each year.  Please write on a postcard  (or email) the name of the Nominee, the reason, your name and address & post code and send it to Anne Moore, Hill Farm, Willesley Woodside, Willesley, Ashfordy-de-la-Zouch, Leic, LE65 2UP    EMAIL

 THE POINTS TROPHY

TO REWARD MEMBERS’ DACHSHUNDS WINS AT OPEN SHOWS

 This trophy  rewards wins at all open shows. Each placing at an open show attracts points and the exhibitor whose dachshund  gains the highest number of points in a twelve month period will be presented with the trophy.

 All dachshunds that have not won a Challenge Certificate are eligible to compete. Wins at open shows after the award of a C.C. do not count, but all wins prior to the award of a C.C. may be counted.

 The competition will run from 1st January 2005 until 31st December 2005, and it is hoped that the trophy will be presented to the winner at the club open show held in 2006. Wins will attract points as follows:

First in class 3 points
Second in class 2 points
Third in  class 1 point
Best in Show 5 points
Reserve Best in Show 4 points
Best Puppy in Show 2 points
Group 1 4 points
Group 2 3 points
Group 3 2 points
Group 4 1 points

 Please ask the Secretary for a form on which to record your dog’s wins, and please use one form per dog: additional forms are available from the Secretary.

The more open shows you enter, the more points you will gain.
